Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival

Arrive in Cartagena. Transfer to the hotel.  After a brief orientation, you will have the remainder of the day at leisure.  We will end the day with our Welcome dinner.

Day 2

Cartagena Culture

Today we will begin the day with a cooking class.  Later we will tour the city and view the interesting and historic sites that make Cartagena unique.

Day 3

Palenque

We will set out for the town of Palenque and learn about the history and culture of this unique town. Later we will end the night at the Sky Bar with some drinks and dancing.

Day 4

Beach Day

Today is beach day.  Take a catamaran tour of the surrounding Rosario Islands, spend the day at a beach resort or simply go swimming at a nearby beach.  This destination has opportunities for swimming or kayaking, or just enjoy the vibes and relax on the beach.  For those wishing to stay at the hotel, there is an optional Sunday brunch on this day.

Day 5

Getsemani & Emeralds

Today we will do some additional shopping for emeralds and tour the Getsemani neighborhood.  There is an opportunity to buy some beautiful art and rare emeralds.

Day 6

Farewell

Today we will visit the Mud Volcano (Optional) or you can experience the beach or other tours such as La Boquilla, or other sites in the city.  Later we will meet for our "All-White" sunset cruise and then on to our Farewell Dinner.

Day 7

Depart

Today we will check out of our hotel and transfer to the airport to return to our home country.

  • A passport valid for six months past your return date.   
  • Colombia Immigration application (Check Migracion) must be completed for entry/exit.


Monitor the US State department for up-to-date information on entry requirements for Cartagena.
