Itinerary
Itinerary*
Day 1
Akwaaba
Arrive in Accra. We will check into our host hotel and rest from our long journey to Accra. Later we will meet to have measurements taken for custom African attire.
Overnight: African Regent Hotel
Day 2
City Tour
Today, we will tour the city of Accra, visit may include sites such as Independence Square, Dubois Center, and Kwame Nkrumah. Later we will meet for our Welcome Dinner.

Day 3
Community Service
Today, we will have a day of community service. Later we will enjoy the sights and sound, and culture of the AfroFuture Festival.

Day 4
Door of No Return
Today we set out for the Central Region. We will visit the Slave Castles. Later we will return to our hotel. Later that night we will enjoy night 2 of Afrofuture.

Day 5
Aqua Safari
Today, you have the option to visit the Aqua Safari Beach Resort . Here you will be able to spend the day horseback riding, jet ski, sailing on a boat, and much more. A BBQ lunch will be served at the resort. Later we will return to Accra.

Day 6
Naming Ceremony
After breakfast, we will start the day with a naming ceremony amidst drumming and dancing, where participants will be given traditional names. In the evening, join in the New Year’s festivities.

Day 7
Free Day
Today is yours to enjoy. Have an optional excursion, relax at the hotel, or see the city.

Day 8
Aburi Gardens
Today we will visit Aburi Gardens. Later we will meet for our Farewell Dinner.

Day 9
Depart
This is our final day in Accra. Enjoy some free time or optional excursions before transferring to the airport for your return flight home.

PRICING
Prices are quoted based on the exchange rate of January 22, 2024. If the US dollar devalues 2% or more, all prices will be adjusted.

Additional Trip Information
- Double Occupancy will consist of 2 twin beds or one Queen bed share for couples.
- Single Occupancy will consist of one Full/Queen bed.
- Daily Breakfast, consists of continental or buffet style options.
- Lunch/Dinner consists of a buffet style dinner and/or select plated option.
Ghana Entry Requirements
- US passport valid for 6 months past your return date and one blank visa page.
- Yellow fever vaccination taken at least 10 days before arrival for US passport holders.
- Note, if originating or transiting through WHO-designated yellow fever countries you may be required to have a yellow fever vaccination.
- Some have received a waiver for this requirement. You should consult your physician if you believe that you may qualify for a waiver.
- Malaria protection is highly encouraged (not required).
- A Visa is also required for US Passport Holders to enter into Ghana.
- Non-US Citizens or travelers without a US passport will need to consult their local embassy.
