Lake Como & Tuscany experience is an elevated eight-day Italian escape designed for travelers who want more than a checklist of landmarks.


Instead of racing from city to city, we’ll settle into two of Italy’s most beautiful regions—spending three nights along Lake Como and four nights surrounded by the rolling hills and vineyards of Tuscany.

FAQ

  • Is airfare included?

    No. International airfare is not included. Guests will fly into Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) and depart from Florence Airport (FLR).

  • Why are we flying into Milan if we're not staying in Milan?

    Milan Malpensa is the primary international gateway for the Lake Como portion of our trip. Upon arrival, guests will transfer directly from the airport to Lake Como.

    Milan is not an overnight destination on this itinerary.

  • Are airport transfers included?

    Yes. Scheduled group airport transfers are included from Milan Malpensa Airport to Lake

    Como on arrival day and from our Tuscany hotel to Florence Airport on departure day.

    Guests arriving or departing outside the designated transfer windows may need to arrange private transportation at their own expense.

  • What type of hotels will we stay in?

    This trip features carefully selected 4-star accommodations.

    Our proposed properties are:

    Lake Como: Palace Hotel Como or similar

    Tuscany: Villa Lecchi or similar

    Final hotels are subject to availability and group contracting.

  • Is Florence included?

    Florence is not included in the base trip package.

    Guests will have the opportunity to add our optional Florence: Fashion, Leather & Culture

    excursion during the Tuscany portion of the trip.

    Those who don't participate can enjoy a full leisure day in Tuscany.

  • Is the Lake Como boat included?

    Yes. Our private Lake Como boat experience is included in your trip package.

    The experience is planned in conjunction with our Bellagio and Varenna day.

  • What should I wear?

    Think effortless Italian chic.

    You'll want comfortable but stylish daytime looks, resort wear, comfortable walking shoes,

    elevated dinner outfits and an all-white look for BTI White Night.

    A detailed BTI Italy Style Guide will be provided before departure.

  • Will there be a lot of walking?

    There will be walking during visits to Bellagio, Varenna and any optional sightseeing activities.

    Cobblestone streets, stairs and uneven surfaces are common in Italy.

    Guests should be comfortable walking and standing for periods of time.

  • Is this trip suitable for travelers who have already visited Italy?

    Absolutely.

    In fact, that's one of the reasons this itinerary is intentionally different.

    Rather than trying to cover Rome, Venice, Florence and Milan in one trip, we're focusing on two regions and experiencing them more deeply and leisurely

  • Can I skip an included activity?

    Yes. You're welcome to enjoy your trip at your own pace. However, unused activities, meals or transportation are generally not refundable or exchangeable.

  • Can I travel solo?

    Solo travelers can select single occupancy for a private room, or choose double occupancy if traveling with a roommate.

    This trip is designed to create opportunities for connection and sisterhood while still giving guests plenty of personal time.

  • What is the difference between double and single occupancy?

    Double occupancy means two travelers share one hotel room.

    Single occupancy means one traveler has a private hotel room.


    The single occupancy rate includes the additional hotel cost associated with occupying a room alone.

  • All trips are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERRABLE.
  • It is essential that you advise us before booking if you do have any disability or pre -existing medical condition which may affect your tour, or if you have any special requirements as a result of any disability or medical condition (including any which affect the booking process) so that we can assist you in considering the suitability of the arrangements and/or in making the booking.
  • The price of your itinerary will be based on known costs at the date of issue of the itinerary. All prices we advertise are accurate at the date published, but we reserve the right to change any of those prices from time to time.

Travel Insurance
Missing a trip and/or losing your money you paid for your trip can be heartbreaking. Therefore we highly recommended purchasing travel insurance to protect you and your investment in case of an emergency. Everyone's needs are different and you can do a search on the best travel insurance to meet your needs. We are also available to provide you with a list of vendors upon your request.

Payment Plans
  • Payment plans are available and are determined based on receipt of deposit and travel dates. 
  • Once deposit is received, travelers have the option to enter into a monthly payment plan or pay the remaining balance in one payment.
  • Travelers entering into payment plans will be invoiced monthly. 
  • Payments are automatically deducted using original payment method on the third Friday of the month.
Roommate Matching
  • If you are in need of a roommate for your trip. Select one of our "double-occupancy" packages and answer the question, "Do you have a roommate?" with "No - I would like to be matched". 
  • Roommate matching occurs after 75% of the cost of the package is paid.
Travel Requirements
  • Traveling abroad requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates. Your passport should not expire before December 2, 2023.
