Questions
Can I join a Black women travel group trip to Brazil if I’m traveling solo or over 40?
Absolutely! Our Brazil tours welcome solo travelers and are thoughtfully curated for Black women travelers over 40. Whether you’re seeking the rhythms of Rio de Janeiro, the Afro-Brazilian culture of Salvador, or the natural serenity of the Amazon, you'll travel safely and joyfully with sisters by your side.
What unique cultural highlights are included on the Brazil tour for Black women travelers?
Our itinerary blends Brazil’s rich Afro-Brazilian heritage with immersive experiences. You’ll marvel at Rio’s Christ the Redeemer, explore Salvador’s Pelourinho, dive into local capoeira performances, journey into the Amazon rainforest, and soak up coastal bliss—all while connecting with women who share your travel energy and values.
How does group travel for Black women in Brazil prioritize safety and authenticity?
We design every aspect of our Brazil group trips with intention. You’ll enjoy vetted accommodations in neighborhoods like Copacabana (Rio) or Pelourinho (Salvador), expertly guided Afro-Brazilian cultural excursions, small-group transportation, and supportive logistics—so that cultural immersion and sisterhood shine without stress.
What’s the best way to get to the start of the tour in Brazil?
Most guests fly into Rio de Janeiro (GIG). We recommend booking a private group transfer arranged via our team for seamless arrival. If preferred, taxis are available at the airport. Once you're on the ground, all in-country transport for tours are included.
Are Brazil tours refundable or flexible if my plans change?
Due to high demand for our Brazil group experiences, bookings are typically non-refundable and non-transferable. We strongly advise purchasing “Cancel for Any Reason” travel insurance to protect your investment. All policy details are shared during booking.
What is the ideal group size for your Black women Brazil tours?
Our Brazil adventures are intimate by design, with a maximum group size of 25 Black women travelers. This ensures deep cultural connection, shared joy, and an enriching experience across cities like Rio, Salvador, and the Amazon Basin.
When will I receive the final Brazil travel itinerary?
A polished and detailed itinerary for your Brazil tour—including city-specific highlights (Rio’s Christ the Redeemer, Salvador’s Afro-Brazilian circuits, Amazon eco-lodges)—will land in your inbox 30–60 days before departure. Prior to that, you’ll be invited to two virtual meet-ups so we can answer questions and build anticipation together.
What are the available payment options?
Available payment options can be viewed and selected at checkout from the booking page. Here you will also find the final payment due date.
How do you help prepare the group for the trip?
We send out a series of emails with detailed information to assist each traveler. We ask that all travelers stay up-to-date on emails. We also conduct at least two zoom calls to answer any questions and view the itinerary. The zoom links will be announced and delivered via email.
