Who is this trip designed for?
This journey is curated with Black women in mind—especially those who value cultural depth, comfort, and intentional pacing. While many of our travelers are 40+, we welcome women of all ages who resonate with our travel philosophy.
What is the pace of the trip like?
The itinerary is intentionally slow and spacious. With only three cities over ten days, you’ll have time to explore, rest, shop, and enjoy the season without feeling rushed or over-scheduled.
Do I need to speak German to enjoy this trip?
No. English is widely spoken throughout Germany, especially in hotels, restaurants, and tourist areas. Local guides and BTI hosts will also support you throughout the journey.
What kind of weather should I expect in December?
December in Germany is wintery and festive, with average temperatures ranging from the high 20s to low 40s (°F). Expect crisp air, holiday lights, and occasional snowfall. A packing guide will be provided to help you prepare comfortably and stylishly.
Is this trip physically demanding?
This trip is designed to be accessible and manageable. Activities involve walking through cities and markets, with plenty of breaks and free time built in. We encourage travelers to move at their own pace.
What’s included in the trip price?
Your land package includes 4-star accommodations, daily breakfast, private transportation, expert local guides, Christmas market experiences, and select group meals. International airfare is not included.
Can I travel solo?
Yes. Many BTI travelers join solo and find community quickly. You may choose double occupancy with a roommate or upgrade to a single room (limited availability).
Is there a payment plan available?
Yes. Flexible payment plans are available, allowing you to secure your spot with a deposit and pay over time.

- All trips are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERRABLE.
- It is essential that you advise us before booking if you do have any disability or pre -existing medical condition which may affect your tour, or if you have any special requirements as a result of any disability or medical condition (including any which affect the booking process) so that we can assist you in considering the suitability of the arrangements and/or in making the booking.
- The price of your itinerary will be based on known costs at the date of issue of the itinerary. All prices we advertise are accurate at the date published, but we reserve the right to change any of those prices from time to time.
- Payment plans are available and are determined based on receipt of deposit and travel dates.
- Once deposit is received, travelers have the option to enter into a monthly payment plan or pay the remaining balance in one payment.
- Travelers entering into payment plans will be invoiced monthly.
- All monthly payments, except final payment, become NON-REFUNDABLE 5 days after payment.
- Your final payment is immediately NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Payments are automatically deducted on the third Friday of the month.
- If you are in need of a roommate for your trip. Select one of our "double-occupancy" packages and answer the question, "Do you have a roommate?" with "No - I would like to be matched".
- Roommate matching occurs after 75% of the cost of the package is paid.
- Traveling abroad requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates.
