Who is this trip designed for?
This experience is ideal for women who love luxury travel with a relaxed pace, meaningful cultural moments, beautiful accommodations, and intentional sisterhood.
What airport do I fly into and out of?
Arrival Airport: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
Departure Airport: Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ)
Are airport transfers included?
Yes - a group transfer from JFK is provided at 2 PM local time.
A group transfer to Toronto Pearson is provided as well.
Note: If you arrive/depart outside of the group transfer window, we can arrange a private transfer for a fee.
What is the train experience like? Is it luxury rail?
The scenic rail segment is a comfortable standard Amtrak experience (not luxury rail), but it’s known for beautiful views. BTI elevates the moment with our curated picnic box and onboard toast.
Do I need a passport?
Yes — this trip includes entry into Canada, so a valid passport is required.
Will I need a visa to enter Canada?
Most U.S. travelers do not need a visa for short stays in Canada, but entry requirements vary by nationality. We’ll provide guidance based on your passport country.
How physically active is this trip?
This trip is designed for a relaxed luxury pace. There will be some walking (city exploration, vineyards, and Niagara), but it is not strenuous. Optional activities are available for guests who want more movement.
What’s included in the trip experience?
Your package includes accommodations, select meals, the scenic train segment, private transfers throughout, a reserved vineyard tasting + paired lunch, the Niagara Falls day trip, and scheduled group dinners.
What’s not included?
Flights, travel insurance, gratuities, and most meals not listed in the itinerary are not included. Optional excursion day activities are guest-paid.
Can I arrive early or stay later?
Yes. If you’d like to extend your stay in NYC or Toronto, we can provide recommendations and support. Additional lodging and transfers would be at your own expense unless otherwise arranged.
Is this trip good for solo travelers?
Absolutely. Many BTI travelers come solo — and leave with sisters. We curate the experience to feel welcoming, connected, and safe.
Will I have free time?
Yes. This is intentionally paced so you can rest, explore, shop, or enjoy the destination at your own rhythm — especially on the leisure and optional excursion days.
What should I pack?
You’ll want travel-chic layers, comfortable walking shoes, a light wrap for train day, and outfits for vineyard lunch + city evenings. A full packing guide will be provided.
What’s the weather like during this time of year?
Expect mild fall temperatures with cool mornings and evenings. Layering is key, especially for Niagara Falls where mist and breeze are common.
How do optional excursions work?
Optional excursions are available on the designated leisure day and at Niagara Falls. You’ll be able to choose add-ons in advance so we can coordinate smoothly.
