How do I get from Rafael Núñez International Airport to the hotel in Cartagena?
Flights arrive at Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG). We recommend arriving in time to transfer on our private group transfer for ease and comfort. This transfer is at 2 PM local time. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or rideshare. Our team can also suggest trusted vendors for personalized airport transportation.
Are the trips refundable, and do you offer travel insurance?
Due to the personalized nature of our Cartagena group tours, our packages are generally non-refundable and non-transferable. We highly recommend purchasing “Cancel for Any Reason” travel insurance to protect your investment. More details can be found in our terms and conditions.
What is the typical group size for a Cartagena tour?
We create intimate group travel experiences for Black women, capping group sizes at fewer than 25 participants. This ensures personalized attention, meaningful connection, and an immersive journey through Cartagena’s vibrant culture.
When will I receive the final itinerary for the Cartagena trip?
Your detailed Cartagena travel plan will arrive via email approximately 30–60 days before the tour start date. Leading up to the trip, we’ll also host at least two Zoom sessions to answer questions and preview the journey together.
How does your roommate matching work?
We can assist with roommate matching for individuals that choose double occupancy and don’t have a roommate. We also advise you to use our Facebook Group to post your search for a roommate.
Note: If you are not able to find a roommate match you will have to upgrade to Single Occupancy.
What are the available occupancy types?
We have both Single and Double occupancy room types available.
Double Occupancy is when two people share a room. The room will have two beds, typically twin sizes or one bed for a couple which will typically be a Queen size bed.
Single Occupancy is when there is one person in the room. The room will consist of a Full or Queen size bed.
What are the available payment options?
Available payment options can be viewed and selected at checkout from the booking page. Here you will also find the final payment due date.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- A passport valid for six months past your return date.
- Colombia Immigration application (Check Migracion) must be completed for entry/exit.
Monitor the US State department for up-to-date information on entry requirements for Cartagena.
MEALS
Breakfast: Buffet style breakfast with assorted pastries, meats, cheeses, fruits, juices, and coffee.
Lunch: Plated meal from a select menu. Drinks are not included.
Dinner: Plated meal from a select menu. Drinks are not included.
