From Atlanta to the Continent — A Journey Rooted in Purpose
Black Travelers International was born from a simple but powerful realization: travel can be more than a vacation. It can be a return. A reconnection. A reclamation. After years of traveling as a corporate professional, I found that many experiences were beautiful, yet disconnected from culture, history, and deeper meaning. I began asking what it would look like to create journeys where Black women could explore the world through heritage, community, and intentional immersion.
That question became Black Travelers International. What started as a vision has grown into curated group journeys across Africa and beyond — bringing women together to walk through Cape Coast with reverence, stand before the Pyramids with awe, witness safari landscapes at sunrise, and celebrate under Ghanaian skies during our annual NYE in Ghana experience. These are not simply trips; they are thoughtfully designed cultural experiences layered with history, connection, and care.
Women from cities like Chicago join us because they are ready for something deeper. They understand that travel can be transformational when done with intention. We move beyond sightseeing.
